Self Driving Cars: Good, Bad, or Indifferent
Technological innovations have changed the way we think, we behave, and we interact. What forms of transportation service should we expect in the next decade? People have their own opinions towards autonomous driving. These opinions are based on the previous learnings from the situation where the technology was absent. Therefore, the opinions are more or less biased. Today we are going to take a second look at the future of urban mobility.
ABOUT JIANAN
Jianan Sun is a female entrepreneur, a big picture engineer, and an innovation activist with the innovation team of Mercedes-Benz USA. Her passion is to understand how disruptive technologies will impact consumers’ lives.
Jianan Sun is a female entrepreneur, a big picture engineer, and an innovation activist. She was born and raised in China. In 2012, she joined Clemson University to pursue her graduate degree – MBA focused on Entrepreneur and Innovation. She also completed her Doctor Degree in Automotive Engineering focuses on smart urban mobility in 2017. A true tiger.
She joined Mercedes-Benz USA’s innovation team shortly after the doctoral hooding ceremony. She also serves as a board member of the Society of Automotive Engineering – the South East Chapter.
Her passion is to understand how disruptive technologies will impact consumers’ lives. In her opinion – Technology is the easy part in innovation, people’s behaviors are the details that we need to pay attention to ensure a beneficial technology implementation.
She mentors startup companies, and works with various local universities in Atlanta. She is very active in the Atlanta tech/innovation community. She volunteers at Hands on Atlanta and Dekalb Animal Services in her spare time.
